Solar DHW Tank SKL

Solar energy stored efficiently for DHW Hygiene in domestic hot water tanks is guaranteed by heating up the specially designed heat exchangers during solar operation. The high capacity exchanger is decisive for the capacity of the collector. Due to the layout of the solar return line at the bottom side of the tank the temperature there is 15°C lower than in regular solar tanks with standard heat exchanger. As a result of that the efficiency and the performance of the solar collector is increased up to 15%. Because of the large-surface high capacity exchanger located in the upper area of the tank the calorific value effect is guaranteed even when refuelling with a condensing boiler. Therefore, the DHW flow rate of our SKL is higher than the flow rate of regular solar storage tanks. By interconnecting the two heat exchangers the tank can be used as high efficiency anti-legionella storage tank, e.g. for the application with heat pumps or in hotels. Solar tank SKL-Compact The SKL solar tank is also available as compact tank ( SKL-Compact) with ready-mounted solar station and solar control unit, if required. The compact version of our solar DHW tank provides several advantages: you save a lot of time and money due to the easy mounting. The compact tank can even be installed in small boiler rooms without problems due to the attached solar station. Moreover, the appeal of the SKL Compact lies in its efficiency and its appearance.
